Apparently, the ASPCA, the Humane Society of the US and those dispicable snakes at PeTA don’t have a clue.  Well, let’s take a look at some examples and see if we can figure this out:

Setting a dog on fire – cruelty

Chaining a dog outside in the hot sun without food or water – cruelty

Throwing a litter of baby kittens into a dumpster – cruelty

Dumping a dog or cat by the side of the road – cruelty

Feeding an animal poison – cruelty

Allowing children to shoot birds with a bb gun – cruelty

Keeping horses in a pen with no food or water to starve to death – cruelty

Puppy mills with dogs abused and mistreated – cruelty

Now, let’s look at some things that are NOT cruelty:

Rescuing animals, trying to keep them safe from harm.  Providing them food, water and medical care – NOT CRUELTY

The ASPCA, the HSUS and PeTA do NOT care about the welfare of animals.  Trust me.  They only care about YOUR MONEY.  If they cared, they would NOT be waging war against no kill shelters and rescue facilities.  If you truly care about animals and want to save their lives, give to a local shelter, preferably a no kill shelter or rescue, NEAR YOU.  The money you give to the Humane Society of The United States, the ASPCA or PeTA will not trickle down to the animals in your neighborhood.  Most of it will go into the pockets of the CEO’s of those three organizations, or will go to fund raids on shelters whose only “crime” is caring and trying to save animals lives.
